We have another vaccine clinic coming up July 11 from 2-4 at JAX in Loveland, please let me know if you can help!!!

We will also be at the Bluegrass and Paws event in Old Town Fort Collins, 7/31 from noon to 8:30, a fun event and if you can help please do.

The last of the summer events is Pets and Vets, 8/21 at the Loveland dog park, again we need help!

We are also getting more Merrick canned cat food, thank you Noelle!! So far we have promised a pallet to Divine Feline in Denver, a group of shelters over in Delta, CO, Friends of Ferals, Senior Citizens here in Loveland, and Fort Collins Cat Rescue. So we can do a whole lot of good with this donation and keep our kitties in the life style they are accustomed too.

We are now close to our 100th adoption, we have rescued 116 animals and adopted 90 out successfully!

Drinkwell donated Platinum fountains to us, so that almost home has a Drinkwell for their fosters.

Pet Tropics is donating multivitamins and probiotics.

Thank you to Susan Mallonee of Breeders Choice for donating samples of Avoderm and larger bags of kibble for our kitties!!!

We are waiting for our cat enclosure supplies form Home Depot, so paws crossed that will happen soon.

So, a busy summer so far, and only more good things to come our way!!

Gata was adopted, hooray!

Took in 3 kittens from a meth house! Had to detox the poor babies, but they should be ready to head to a drug-free furever home soon! They are 2 Tuxedos (Flower and Etty Bitty), and General Tao (Lilac point/snowshoe cross–I just call him Little Man).

Larimer County Veterinary Association has promised us a donation, too. Thank you!

We also have someone interested in another kitty–paws crossed.

Anyone have experience writing to people/places to help us in winning grants, money, goods…since we are now a FEDERAL 501(c)(3) NON PROFIT?! So we can do more good!!!

Very nice lady, Joan picked her, jumped in her lap and kissed her and that was it.

The lady saw our Reporter-Herald article back in June and kept a copy of it, and wanted to adopt a kitty from us. She just got done traveling and what not and was ready for a new friend, and it is my little Joan!

Petunia got adopted with Diva. They love each other to pieces, Toons playing mom and all with the little one. Their new mommy has messaged me every day reporting their progress and how much she loves them.

So yippee, Gracie is the last of the original DP kitties, she is healing well, probably will be scarred though, but I tell her she is beautiful and she is okay with that.

We also helped another family over in Greeley–a stray found them and someone pulled its claws out with pliers(!) They already had 3 cats and couldn’t afford the expense of more food, etc. so Highland Hills told them about us and we helped them with the food, litter, and anything else they would need to keep him. So another kitty off the streets and with good people!!!

Saki, one of our death row rescues from Colorado Springs, got adopted by a great family. Yay Saki and her fosters Mike and Karen!!

Tiki got adopted by a great family! They love him and he loves them, so yay!!

Also, Zorro just got adopted and will be heading to her new home Saturday. Wahoo!!!

Nigel is doing very well. He’s adjusting and has begun to realize he can’t rule everything. The door was open and he stayed inside… Yeah!!!!! We haven’t had to use meds on him except for when he first came here. I think he will be just fine. Some boundaries and discipline have made a huge difference.

Estes and Thompson were adopted this week by separate but great families, the little ones picked their people right away, it was different days but they knew.

Thompson is going to stay Thompson, but Hunter S. Thompson, or Gonzo. Estes is going to be part of her people’s official wedding this month. Bridget is pre-adopted, and we’re just waiting for her to grow some more, her person is anxiously awaiting her and visiting her on a weekly basis. Bridge is a whooping 1.6 lbs now, so she might gain more soon.
