Clem, Our First Adoption
Handsome Clem
Clem was the orphaned victim of a murder-suicide that my vet called me to help. Clem is a 16 year old beauty who was unfortunately the silent victim of this tragedy. Family members thought that at his age, it was not a good idea to go a shelter. So I met the little guy, who was one big furry black and white boy with the sweetest face. He was a bit scared, but I picked him him up he started purring and melting into my arms like we already knew each other.
I posted an ad about this little man on local servers and had a tremendous response and outpouring of love from many people who wanted Clem to spend his golden years with them. Out of the many responses was one from a gentleman that said he would be honored to have Clem join his family for whatever time Clem still had and know he was wanted and loved. That was the family I chose for Clem. They are doing well: Clem has fit in and acts like he was already part of the family for many years!
Clem's New Family
Clem was the first offical Duncan's Place adoption, no money exchanged--just getting a kitty a new and happy home to live out his golden years.
